No wine more than Barolo gets better with time. It should be served with the great kitchen dishes, but it admirably closes also a meal as meditation wine.
This is a traditional cru area of Barolo, situated in the south facing slope area of Barolo, situated in the south facing slope of a hill in the village of Serralunga d'Alba.
The soil of cultivation is hilly type, between 250 and 300 meter high above sea level; south south-east located with a mixed clayish and calcareous structure.
After picking off the stalks, the free run juices are stocked in vertical stainless steel vats. The fermentation takes place at controlled temperature of 27/30°. The maceration process is quite long, 12 days average. The wine was settled in November in the tanks, before being poured of and aged in French tonneaux. No wine more than Barolo gets better whit time.
Full, austere intense with signs of violet and dried canine rose; red intense pomegranate with typical orange reflexes.
